The FPSO, is a converted Suezmax trading tanker.
It is self-propelled with 11 cargo storage tanks, 2 slop tanks and 6 dedicated water ballast tanks including fore and aft peak tanks. The FPSO will be deployed in the Anyala-Madu field, offshore Nigeria as part of OML 83 & 85 development. The process system on the FPSO includes facilities for oil separation, stabilization, produced water treatment, gas treatment and compression. The processing and storage capacities are as below:
- Oil Processing- 60,000 bopd
- Produced water Treatment – 25,000 bwpd
- Gas Handling – 39mmscfd
- Cargo storage capacity - 700,000 barrels
Currently, the FPSO is undergoing fast-track modification and upgrading including life extension activities in Keppel shipyard, Singapore. The Repair and Life Extension (RLE) scope of work consist of refurbishment of the existing marine and process systems and installation of new skids and process upgrades that will deliver optimal value for FIRST E&P in the Anyala-Madu field.
Once upgrade and life extension work is completed, the FPSO will sail to OML-83/85 location for mooring, hook up to subsea flowlines and umbilicals followed by pre-commissioning. Production is expected to commence by Q2, 2020.
