This Code is a guide to the general principles that inform the way we work with each other and our relationships with customers, suppliers, vendors, competitors, government bodies and the public. It also provides practical advice to help employees in their day-to-day work.
The Code is not a substitute for accepting individual responsibility and we must each exercise sound judgment and common sense in our actions and dealings with others and seek advice as necessary if in doubt.
The Board of FIRST E&P is responsible, ultimately for all ethics and compliance related matters and will not allow the integrity of the business to be compromised.
We expect all our employees and those that work with us to uphold the highest ethical standards and to act with complete integrity at all times. Our reputation is extremely important to us and we will do all we can to protect it through legitimate, honest and open practices.
Achieving our aspirations requires us to:
- Work to world-class standards
- Work safely
- Respect the environment and be sensitive to the communities in which we work
- Promote on merit and reward on team delivery
