The Executive TeamPage of the FIRST Exploration and Petroleum Development Company (“FIRST E&P”), led by the Managing Director, Mr Ademola Adeyemi-Bero, presented a mini model of the Abigail-Joseph Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) unit to the Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (‘NNPC’), Mr Myele Kyari, on the 11th of November 2020.
This is a demonstration of the positive and successful partnership that has existed in the Joint Venture between NNPC & FIRST E&P and is a celebration of the key milestone achieved recently, with the commencement of oil production from the Anyala West field in Oil Mining Leases (OMLs) 83 & 85 on October 21, 2020.
The Abigail Joseph Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO), a 274 metres long converted Suezmax trading tanker has the capacity to process 60,000 bopd and storage of 700,000 bbls.
The presentation is a demonstration of FIRST E&P’s commitment to its strategic goal to be the ‘Most Admired Independent E&P company contributing to the well-being of Nigerians’ by creating sustainable economic value, with an entrepreneurial and commercial organic growth mindset, and with a key focus on sustainable harmony by maintaining positive collaboration with our partners, NNPC.
